Itinerary

 

DAY 01: DELHI - SHIMLA 

Arrive Airport / Railway Station from kolkata Pick up from Delhi and Travel by surface from Delhi to Shimla. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel. Shimla is a tourist destination also the capital of the Himachal state. situated in the north-west Himalayas. Shimla is often referred to as "Queen of Hill Stations" . It has been blessed with all the natural beauties. Shimla, draped in forests of pine, rhododendron, and oak, experiences pleasant summers and cold, snowy winters.

 

DAY 02: SHIMLA 

Full Day at Shimla Morning free. Afternoon half day city tour visiting Indian Institute Of Advanced Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu Temple, Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town – The Mall & The Ridge. Overnight at the hotel in Shimla.

 

DAY 03: SHIMLA 

Full day excursion visiting Chail, Kufri and Naldehra. Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 04: SHIMLA/ MANALI 

Morning Drive from Shimla to Manali. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel in Manali. Manali Once called the "end of the habitable world," Manali is an important hill station of northern India and is the destination of thousands of tourists every year. Its cool atmosphere provides a perfect haven for the ones afflicted by the hot Indian summers. Besides offering quite a few places for sightseeing, Manali is also famous for adventure sports like skiing, hiking, mountaineering, paragliding, rafting, trekking, kayaking, and mountain biking. In brief, Manali-the veritable "valley of the Gods"- is an ideal place for the ones in search of both adventure and Luxury.

 

DAY 05: MANALI ( 

Morning half day city tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery and Vashisht Village. Afternoon free. Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 06: MANALI

Full day excursion visiting Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall) and Sollang Valley. Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 07: MANALI/ MANIKARAN (85 KMS)/ KULLU (45 KMS)

Full day excursion visiting Manikaran. Manikaran has the World’s hottest Suplhur Spring Waters and is a holy place for Hindus & Sikhs alike. Return back to Kullu town enroute visiting the famous Kullu Shawl Industry. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening free to visit Kullu town. Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 08: KULLU/ MC LEODGANJ (200 KMS)

Travel by surface from Kullu to Mc Leodganj (Dharamsala). On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel. Mc Leodganj is a suburb of Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh it is often reffered as “ Little Lhasa “ Mc Leodganj is a small hill station in the upper part of Dharamshala. Nestled beautifully among the Dhaluadhars mountains this small town is well known world wide for its scenic beauty and the seat of His Holiness Dalai Lama. Owing to the presence of the spiritual leader the town is a major seat of Buddhist learning in India This small town is the administrative hub of the Tibetan government in exile and is a Buddhist pilgrimage center. People from all over the world come here to learn Buddhism and the Tibetan culture. The town has several ancient temples and monasteries. The atmosphere of the town is very spiritual with Buddhist religious practice and lifestyles. Other than that, it is a perfect destination for nature lovers.

 

DAY 09: MC LEODGANJ

Morning half day city tour visiting Dal Lake, Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple and Tibetan Monastery. Afternoon free. Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 10: MC LEODGANJ/ DALHOUSIE (143 KMS)

Travel by surface from Mc Leodganj to Dalhousie. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel in Dalhousie. Dalhousie a captivating hill station located in Himachal Pradesh, Dalhousie came into existence in the year 1854 by the British, to serve as a summer retreat for them. The town got its name from the then British Viceroy, Lord Dalhousie. Dalhousie is situated at a height of about 2080m. It is on the west side of the Dhauladhar mountainous range and is built in and around the hills.Dalhousie serves as the gateway to the old hill state of Chamba, peresently known as the Chamba District in Himachel Pradesh, India. The region is a storehouse of the ancient and rich Hindu art, culture, temples, and handicrafts. A municipal town, Dalhousie is a sought after tourist destination in the district of Chanba in Himachal Pradesh.

 

DAY 11: DALHOUSIE

Full day excursion visiting Khajjiar and Chmba town. Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 12: DEPART DALHOUSIE/DELHI

Check out from the hotel. departure for Pathankot / delhi. Dropping at the Airport for kolkata.
